Enjoying our honeymoon in Taiwan at the moment. Will be back on the 18th November 2008.
Yes, it might be a little late to write this … but better late than never. I’ve been really busy with traveling and wedding planning so please do excuse this late entry.
So we decided to go early since it is based on first come first serve. When I arrive at JPN (about 8 am in the morning), we submitted our form and we got number 3003 (apparently this number came out first prize and second prize in the 4D on two consecutive weeks).
Here’s the family photo (Cynthia’s parent can’t make it since they are still in Tawau). They have all these cute backdrops for you to take photos around the building.
The lovely & loving couple for the day.
Here they are submitting the forms and identification card (both marrying couple and the witness). Had to pay RM 30 for the marriage certificate.
The scary moment in life (Haha… signing the document of lost freedom … honey, don’t kill me).
Here’s the commissioner that sign the marriage certificate. Really funny lady.
The exchange of the wedding rings.
“You may kiss the bride :P”
The married couple (with Cynthia’s aunty as the witness on the right).
until we are officially married …. nervous nervous … stomach ache … so many things more to do ….
Finally collected the pre-wedding photos which comes with the following:
I have uploaded the photos to the website as well but it’s only open to those people that I want to show for the time being.
Finally checked out the draft copy of the photo album and confirmed some of the pages. Now waiting for second round of confirmation before giving the go-ahead to start the printing which we hope can be ready on the 2nd September 2008.
Finally! My wedding cards are finally printed and ready to be issued out. Now it’s the matter of finalizing the guest list and waiting for the big day.
One big stack of envelope and cards waiting for delivery. Have to find a way to send some of them back to my fiancee’s hometown as well.
Just got back from a delightful food tasting session at Westin Hotel. I must say the food quality is extremely fantastic and I love the way the food is put together in style of fusion. Kudos to the chef!
Check this out! They even hang out signs with our names at the elevator on each floor! Really professional standards.
I won’t be posting much photo on the food since I will let that be part of the dinner surprise
It’s been some time since I updated the blog. Just a quick update:
GAWD! It was a good experience but it’s just so damn tiring. As some of you might know, we had a photo-shoot session on 30th March. Here’s how the story goes…
First, you go to the bridal shop for which you need to spend at least 1 hour for make-up for the ladies. Trust me, it will take ONE HOUR. It only takes like 5-10 minutes for the man.
Next comes the changes of costume. The first to be taken is the choice of ethnic costume from which you have a choice of English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Malay and Indian style. You will meet the photographer whereby he will go through a list of items which you can decide whether you want or don’t want (for example, do you have any taboo with black color … or you want the entire face without your head being chopped off :P)
Next comes the changes for wedding dress and change of hair-do for the ladies. Photos are taken in the studio and around the bridal shop. This entire cycle goes on as there is still 2 more evening gown changes to go through. It will end about 3pm.
Immediately after this comes the outdoor shoot. We decided to have ours done in Putrajaya which has a familiar "Canberra" look.
Just one of the spots where photographs are taken.
Managed to snap this action pic. The photographer will assist in the background selection and poses. So just let loose and enjoy
By the time we got back, it was already 8 pm. A full day adventure but freaking tiring. Make sure you get a good rest for the next day I was like aching all over
Remember some time back when I have posted about the new Premium Blend Roast from McDonald. It seems that they now have pancakes as well in the breakfast menu.
Here’s the premium roast blend coffee that they are serving in two sizes: small and regular.
Check out the new pancakes from McDonald served with honey, butter and hash-brown. It comes with a large cuppa coffee. YUMMY!
